It is time to start thinking about summer which means it’s time to start thinking about 4-H Junior Camp!!! This year, camp will be June 9 – 13, 2019. The cost is $330 per child (partial scholarships are available). The camp is located in Front Royal, VA. Camping is one of the most valuable learning experiences a youngster can have. Boys and girls learn to appreciate the wonders and the majesty of the outdoors with others their own age. Camping offers: group living, learning to get along with others, opportunity to acquire new skills, get to know people with interests different from their own and the opportunity to make lasting friendships. 4-H Camp offers your child a fun, safe, and challenging experience. Top priority is given to the health, safety and welfare of each camper. The Center has a resident staff that is trained in areas such as: swimming instruction, canoeing, shooting education, recreation, first aid and youth development. If you are interested or have any questions, please call Pudney Pitts in the Caroline Extension Office. Her number is (804) 633-6550.
