In-Person Parenting Programs
First Five Years is a four-week parenting education workshop series that takes place at 10 am on 2nd Tuesdays of every month. The series provides parents with practical strategies for nurturing their child's development during the early years. It covers various topics related to parenting young children, giving parents practical tools and knowledge to support their child's growth and development. This program includes sessions on sleep schedules, feeding routines, developmental milestones, play-based learning, and school readiness. Caring for Kin Support Group Raising your grandkids or other child relatives can be challenging. But you don't have to do it alone. The Caring for Kin Support Group meets monthly, offering a safe and supportive environment to connect with others, share resources and advice, and learn from guest speakers. Come join us! On-line Parenting Programs
"Parenting Children and Youth Live" is a virtual program that equips parents with tools to promote positive health and personal development in their children. Topics include communication, discipline, and problem-solving. The program also reinforces essential life skills to reduce and prevent substance use and violence.
